How do I control my anger | Spiritual approach to anger management | Master Sha teaches anger management practices
Dear Ones,
Dear Ones,
To purify your soul, heart, mind, and body in every aspect
of your life, follow this key principle:
Create good karma by making others happier and healthier with what you
do, what you speak, and what you think.
How do I control my anger | Spiritual approach to anger management | Master Sha teaches anger management practices, Heal, Love, Master Sha, |
For speech, do you speak with kindness, love, compassion,
and integrity? Do you speak with
sincerity and honesty? Or do you speak rudely? Do you complain? Do you lie? Are you irritated or even angry?
sincerity and honesty? Or do you speak rudely? Do you complain? Do you lie? Are you irritated or even angry?
An important ancient spiritual teaching is:
Anger burns good virtue.
If two people are arguing and one person is shouting and
yelling, while the other person is quiet, the person who is yelling is
literally throwing his or her virtue to the person who is quiet. The yelling
person loses virtue. If both people yell at each other, then they are throwing
virtue back and forth to each other.
If you are very angry in this life, you most likely angered
others in previous lives. As an ancient Chinese sage said, “If you devote your life to seeking revenge, first dig two graves.” This is why I always emphasize the importance of forgiveness
practice to clear negative karma. The physical and emotional benefits of
forgiveness have been confirmed scientifically. Research indicates that
forgiveness reduces stress caused by the unbalanced emotions of bitterness,
anger, and fear.
Anger in the emotional body is connected with the liver. For
example, people with a liver condition such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, or a tumor
or cancer in the liver are generally easily upset. The converse is also true.
If you are often angry and fly into rages at the slightest provocation, your
constant anger hurts your liver by blocking its energy. Think of the last time
you argued so heatedly with your family or colleagues — or a stranger — that
you lost your temper. Regardless of what upset you, you probably also lost your
appetite at the time. Everybody has had this experience. When you are upset,
anger stimulates the liver
cells and makes them overactive. As a result, more energy than usual radiates
from the liver, putting pressure on the stomach, which causes you to lose your
appetite. Loss of appetite is only one of the first symptoms of liver stress
caused by anger. Other manifestations can include poor digestion, liver
disease, and cancer. Long-term anger like holding a perpetual grudge or flying
into a rage all the time causes the liver to constantly radiate more energy. If
the surrounding tissues and organs cannot dissipate this excess energy quickly
enough, an energy blockage will build up in and around the liver. Over time,
the blockage will result in liver dysfunction, liver disease, and other
complications such as cancer.
